Laparoscopic surgery in rural India
Bodeli General Hospital is a multi-speciality high tech hospital established in April-2005, catering the medical and surgical needs of the people in and around Bodeli, Dist: Baroda, Gujarat, India. This place is situated 70 kms from Baroda, the nearest town. It caters the need of the population which mainly consists of the poor farmers, and tribals .
Previously and still now , many believe laparoscopy is all about tubal ligation , although it is only a small part of laparoscopy.We have developed this centre for full fledged laparoscopic surgery, endoscopy ,trauma , obstetrics and Gynec surgery. It has full fledged radiology department with ultrasound, Xrays, IITV , well equipped pathology laboratory.
